@ don – I appreciate you stopping in and leaving your point of view from the male perspective. I’m glad that you’ve gotten to this point. You are selling yourself cheap because you truly seem like a catch. Besides, who needs the drama? Besides, like I told you before you might mess around and get your nuts shot off. LOL! People are crazy out there. It’s just not worth it. If she “rather be with you” then she needs to make that happen. Or else leave her alone. I know, easier said than done.

@crys – I do believe he was making the food…although there was a time that I wondered. I ran into a string of bad luck and a friend of mine swore wifey had put roots on me. Ha!

And no, I never intentionally implied that he was going to get anything beyond brief convo on my way out the door at night! But by accepting the food, I think I was giving him hope. So that was my fault and I accept that responsibility. From here on in with these kinds of things, I have to think in terms of whether I would be happy if the shoe was on the other foot. Put myself in the other person’s place. Answer is absolutely not!

I just hope it was HIM cooking…and not him bringing you the leftovers that his WIFE lovingly prepared for HIM to eat on his lunch!!!

Anywho..you weren’t leading that man on. HE KNEW HE WAS MARRIED from jump. YOU never implied that your acquaintance would ever elevate beyond that staus anyway. Right?

it felt good reading this. one, bcause i am doing a little soul-searching lately. and, two, because i have made up my mind to stop messing around with married or involved females. even if they tell me, ‘i don’t have anyone’ and i find out they are lying i am prepared to end things then and there. i just feel like i sell myself cheap, especially since i have now arrived @ the point where it’s really just a waste of time.

so, like you, i have learned my lesson.

i’m sure of that.

@ B- “Dine and then dine on…” Cut it out! LOL! I guess I’m still amused that he thought he had a chance. Granted I was accepting the meals, I wasn’t flirting or making any kind of overtures. Guess that was enough. But he is one of those that thinks he still got it.

Old men got worms! Ha! Esther says the same thing. And yes, sticking to the the young bucks just may be the plan

*giving my DVR the side-eye* It BETTER have recorded the Piccolo episode. I am enjoying seeing the young JPS on there. And I’m hating because she doesn’t look that much older and looks to wear the exact same size!
