I attend at least one concert a month and am subject to hop on the road at a moment’s notice to see my favorite artist. Have music, will travel.
Check out reviews of some of the concerts I’ve attended.

Here is an artist that I think you should look for or follow. Her name is Rona Rawls and she has a band called The Brown Sugar Project. They are amazing! Ive seen them a few times around the DC/Metropolitan area and I hear Rona is working on a debut album. Anyway look into it and it would be great to shine some light on this talented sista who is up and coming! Check her website out http://www.thebrownsugarproject.com
Thank You,
Sharon Simpson
Thank you for your kind words. I am a proud mother. She has completed the first recording. I think it is awesome. The CD is called “Colors of Love.” A pre-release performance is happening tonight at Live Lounge, 11th and U Street, N.W. (upstairs from the Bohemian Caverns). The CD is available on the website thebrownsugarproject.com . The site is being updated and will include soundbites from the actual album very soon, but trust me you won’t be disappointed.
